This prototype data visualisation allows you to explore a number of data sets related to the counties of the Republic of Ireland using both a cartogram and sortable bar chart. The cartogram is an adaptation of Shawn Allen's example. The sortable bar chart is based on this example.
Technologies used include d3.js, TopoJSON, and cartogram.js; colors by colorbrewer.
Data sources include: Central Statistics Office; Road Safety Authority; Wikipedia entries for the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship and All-Ireland Senior Hurling Championship.
